***Today, I have a picture and video of Matteo playing a game at the church picnic this past weekend***Today the girls had swimming lessons and Maria had her homeschoolers gym class. It went well. Our friends from church who were on vacation last week were back today, so Maria was happy to have a friend. The gym class is for kids ages 6-12, so sometimes they play games a little more geared to the older ones, and Maria has trouble understanding them fully. She doesn't seem to mind, though, and has a lot of fun!
Cati did better with swimming lessons today, but still not as well as her first 2 weeks. They had filled the pool a little more than usual today, so she had trouble standing up with her ears out of the water, which bothered her. She did put her face in voluntarily a few times, at least.
Maria did well in swimming today. Her teacher spent a lot of time with her trying to get her to relax and calm down in the water. She is just so excited about swimming and she's trying so hard, that she can't swim. It's so hard for kids to understand that when you stop trying so hard, it actually becomes easier.
I love watching both of them in their classes!
