Little Engineers!
See what our little engineers have been up to... :)

This is Maria'a altar...look closely and you'll see a cross, 2 candles, a chalice, and paten.
Here's Matteo bridge.
Happy Easter!!
Happy Easter!!
We had a wonderful Easter Sunday! It was truly a joyous day for many reasons. First, of course, was the celebration of the the Resurrection! After the sacrifices and reflections of Lent, it is so wonderful to go to Mass on Easter Sunday and sing enough 'Alleluia's' to make up for missing them for nearly 7 weeks! Secondly, all the kids had been sick for 2 weeks, and they were finally better. Well, Chiara still wasn't feeling well, but at least she didn't have a fever! And, Dany was home after being is Canada for a week. We went to a friend's house in the afternoon and had an egg hunt and supper. We all had a lot of fun!
Here are the kids after Mass. Yes, the girls are wearing their Christmas dresses! With Dany being out-of-town and the kids being sick, I didn't have time to go shopping for new Easter dresses. It was too cold for spring dresses anyway. But, we did go out shopping on Monday to buy new clothes for Maria's upcoming 1st Communion on April 13th. Keep her in your prayers!
But, you will notice Matteo's new shirt, tie, and suspenders!! I had gotten those a few weeks ago.

More goodies from Aunt Ginny!
11 months old!!
Chiara is 11-months-old today!! Only 1 month until her birthday! I can't believe it!
She trying to talk a lot. She says: mama, bye-bye, night-night, ball, and book. She loves books, but not board books, regular ones. She loves to flip the pages. She never tears them.
Here she is 'helping' us plant our Aerogarden :)
Here she is drinking from a cup, which she has recently mastered.

Here she is just being cute!

Snow (again!)
I try to be tolerant of the snow, but I'm afraid that I can't get away from my Georgia upbringing! The snow is kinda pretty at times, but by March I'm pretty tired of it :) Here are pictures from March 1st.
We actually had a "warm" week this past week with no snow! It was so great to get in the car and just go, without having to scrape and brush the car, sidewalk, road, etc. But, we're waiting for more snow this afternoon and night. Oh, well! It is Lent, after all. Just one more thing to offer up!
Even the kids are antsy for spring and summer. The girls ask everyday if they can wear a dress or skirt :) But, you can see from the pictures that they don't seem to mind the snow too much when they get to play in it!
