Here are some more pictures from Maria's birthday. She's still receiving cards and presents, so she's enjoying an extended birthday!
We don't have any errands to run today! Yeah! Just school work. We've discovered even more advantages of homeschooling: 1) doing school work in your princess dress; and 2) getting an M&M for each correctly spelled word during our Tuesday oral spelling practice. Maria suggested today that they should get 1 M&M for each letter of each correct word :) Her words this week include "thought" and "daughter," while Cati's are 3-letter short 'A' words. I told her that we would stick to one per word! Spelling is NOT Maria's favorite nor best subject, so I have to think of fun ways for her to get more practice.
