Vacation in GA

We arrived Monday evening after a 12-hour drive from PA. The kids were really great in the car!

My parents live out in the country in NW GA...

...across from a dairy.
You can see from the brown grass that it's very hot and dry here.

We still spent some time outside
picking blueberries

and just having fun!

And playing a little ball :)

Welcome to Georgia! I'm sorry we won't be able to see and squeeze your kids while you are here. Hugs from the Goodrows!

Rob said he's hoping for blueberry cobbler since the kids picked some berries... didn't look like they got enough for that. :) Can't wait to see everyone!

I hope you can use the experiences from this coming weekend as "education" for the kids. Friday at the National Cemetary and Saturday at Stone Mountain. Living in PA the kids may not hear the "true story" of the Great Yankee Aggression against the South (a.k.a The Civil War) LOL! Looking forward to seeing you all soon...
